Can you draw a car accident diagram in a computer?
Why would want to do that? Diagrams? It’s only complicate right? Plus the police create very good ones, more accurate ones, right? Wrong.
The police diagrams are not very impressive. Most police offices just draw a boxes, where north is, and where the location of the accident was. You need to sit down and create a diagram that accounts for lines on the road, name of the streets, and objects that could have contributed to the accident (buildings, trees, etc). Creating a diagram is not difficult, you can do it manually or you can do it in the computer. Today, you can create such a diagram that you can win a jury or change the mind of an adjuster.
With technology like Google Earth you can have a satellite picture of the exact location of your accident, lines on the road, obstructions, if cars park on the side of the road. The detail is amazing and it will help you set your diagram up. We have tools (diagram templates) that can help you draw a good diagram and impress a judge.
Even if you are not comfortable with drawing in a computer, you can print a template and being drawing. There are many ways to convey your side of events. A diagram will show what you want to express, not what the police thinks happens. If you read the statements of the police and look at their diagrams, they only show what the parties say, nothing of what they deducted from their investigation.
